Herps in Ireland Empty
PostSubject: Herps in Ireland   Herps in Ireland I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 20, 2011 9:50 am

I'm in Ireland for my job for a couple months, and was studying up on the reptiles and amphibians here so I could do a little herping every so often. Turns out, there are no snakes and no turtles in Ireland. I couldn't believe it. The only native reptile is a viviparous lizard, which I've been trying to find. Also, crested newts are their only salamander.

I'll post pics if I find anything.

Sam

Here's my reptile blog if you're interested in some other herping pics of mine.
